Bookbug is Kalamazoo’s full service independent bookstore featuring the best in new books and book-related events.  We are, first and foremost, a place: four walls, dozens of shelves, thousands of books, one quirky playhouse, and several spots to sit, read, talk, play, and discover great reads. Our store has a special emphasis on and expertise in children’s and young adult literature.  We take pride in matching the perfect story to every young reader, but we are in no way for children alone.  Our curated selection of adult literary fiction, nonfiction, and graphics, in addition to our special ordering, book club, and online services, makes Bookbug a preferred source of books for any independent-minded family that values quality, care, and community.
